Viper Drag Car Build

Here's a little teaser of one of two sister cars being built to pursue a few quarter mile records.   The powerplant and turbo system are still undecided, but the chassis is back from the chassis builder and plans for the powerplant will be next!  its easily suspected that it will make in upwards of 1500+ rwhp.

this '98 Viper GTS was obtained as a salvaged/wrecked car with little to no frame damage.  Within a few days it  was stripped down and off to the body shop for some Chassis checking

The car will retain the factory Viper IRS and suspension.    Eventually plans are to chase the 6 speed 1/4 mile record, but the chassis is also built around a TH400.

Weight of the chassis is undetermined. but the car sports all Carbon Fiber Body Panels.
