Ford GT Single Turbo Conversion

The A.R.T. Texas Mile built Ford GT is back under the knife for a New setup for this years October Mile running.

The Decision has been made to do away with the Twin Turbo Setup in an effort to make more power efficiently and hopefully sooner.
We originally planned to upgrade the original Twin Turbo configuration, but decided on this for a little more simplicity in hopes of making the car easier to tune and drive with the factory EMS configuration.

The Turbo is a Custom built 106mm gt55 unit. The Turbine Housing was machined for a massive weight reduction.
An engine hoist was used to place the unit in place for mockup as its too heavy for one person to lug around. The Dual Outlet Exhuast through the bumper is also being converted to single outlet for the 5" Down Pipe/Exhuast Exit on the New single Setup

Her true power output unfortunately wont be realized until she receives her high RPM motor build with forged internals planned for later this year when the Custom Crankshaft comes back from manufacturing. Until Then we are stuck at the stock Motor power constraints around 1000-1100 whp.  When she's complete we hope to make 1300-1400 rwhp.
