Jeep Srt8 Roll Cage
Last week at ART, we spent our time adding some safety equipment to one our one-off monster Turbo Builds.
Safety is a major concern on and off the track. Most tracks wont even allow you on their premises without the right safety equipment. A street driven vehicle certainly has different needs and demands that need to be met to keep the driver and occupants safe.
This roll cage install was done to a 2006 Jeep SRT8 that had previously been in the shop for the coolest Turbo and Motor combo a Jeep SUV has ever seen! All the functionality was kept in mind of the factory interior. With that in mind, the seats had to move their entire travel, head room had to stay the same for our tall driver, and last but not least the LCD screens had to remain functional!
After all that was fit and correct, next came the tedious step of welding the entire cage into the car and
2011 A.R.T. Time Trial Event, Round II
Together with Harris Hill Road, ART is hosting their Second 2011 Time Trial event.
Saturday December 3, 2011
Bring your race machine(s), your helmet, and every bit of
talent behind the wheel you can. Run against everyone for prizes, trophies,
and a respected Title.
When and Where:
Saturday December 3, 2011, at H2R (Harris Hill Road) in San Marcos, Texas.
This is a full day event, with Food and Beverages provided by ART.
Who can race:
Legally Licensed Drivers of any State or Country
What Vehicle types can Race:
Cars, light Trucks and SUV's, if it's street legal and under 7000 lbs. GVW
Race Cars built to Road Race are also permitted.

Kuno Whittmer Drives the 240Mph Texas Mile Viper around Texas World Speedway.
Two weeks ago at the Dodge Viper Cup event in Texas, ART brought out the World's fastest viper ever to make some exhibition runs around the Texas World Speedway Oval. With Kuno Whittmer behind the wheel and Todd Nelson in the Passenger seat, they clocked over 230 mph on the straightaway.
This is just a Quick teaser, as the entire adventure was shot for an upcoming TV show, TBA.
Harris Hill A.R.T. Time Trial event
This weekend ART is holding our first Time Trials
Saturday June 18, 2011, at H2R (Harris Hill Road) in San Marcos, Texas.

There were a ton of cool supercars at this years event, although not as many big hitters. The red Porsche was my next favorite next to the ART viper 
it would have been cool to see the cars run back to back of each other. Maybe next time someone can cordinate some of the fast cars to run together.
