2010 Dodge Viper Cup Race #4 Results @ Hallet Motor Circuit

The 4th race  running of the  innaugural Dodge Viper Cup Series at Hallet Motor Circuit this sunday was an interesing one for sure.

The number #67 car of Ryan Schimsk starting in eight after qaulifying on slicks in the rain and make a quick dash to third place on the first lap.   Two minor on track collisions with the #90 car  of Kieth Verges changed up the field positions three different times.  After those mishaps, Ryan Drove the wheels off the car to start moving back through the pack to a third place finish.

Ben Keating's #33 car started out front for the race .  By the second lap Ben was trailing the pack from the back.   From there he made a hard charge back to the front of the pack  in 2nd  only to run into  mechanical problems that put him at the back of the pack yet agian. Struggling to keep the car going for him seemed to be tons of work and unfortunately kept him off the podium for Sunday's race.

Aj Morgan ran an awesome race to finish 2nd after missing qualifying and starting from the very back of the field.  Richie Hearn guest driving in the Dodge Motorsports campaigned car ran away with the lead after ben keating dropped to the back after the first Lap.
